WHAT WILL I LEARN?
Your report will show an overview of your skin microbiome, your top 10 bacteria and fungi. In addition to your microbiome makeup, you will receive personalized skincare and nutritional recommendations. We use the Next Generation Sequencing technique to analyse your microbiome (16S analysis for Bacteria and ITS analysis for Fungi).
As we collect more data, you will gain even greater insight into what makes your microbiome work, and how science can aid in skin health solutions.

WHICH MICROBES WILL I TEST FOR?
We will test for the top 10 most common bacteria and fungi that live on your skin. Your results will be as unique as you are, here are some examples of common bacteria we are testing for:
Cutibacterium acnes:
Usually found hanging out deep within hair follicles and pores, an overgrowth of this bacteria can lead to acne, but it is also found on the surface of healthy skin
Staphylococcus epidermidis:
One of the most abundant bacterium found on your skin, it’s harmless and keeps the bad stuff out of our skin
