YOU'RE NOT ALONE
40% of women have worries about their skin. We wanted to change that. So we created a simple test kit for testing your skin’s microbiome at home. With one swab, you can decode your microbes and create a plan.
WAIT, WHY IS THE SKIN MICROBIOME SO IMPORTANT?Our skin microbiome is the ecosystem which sustains the microorganisms living on our skin that are essential for its overall health. When we have a healthy skin microbiome, our skin is clearer and we feel better. And even more significantly, an unhealthy microbiome can lead to acne, dryness and sensitivity.
Dr Elsa Jungman’s microbiome tests help you to understand your skin better, the environmental factors contributing to it and how to improve it. As for our skincare, we know it’s good for your skin microbiome, because we are the first US company to be deemed microbiome-friendly by MyMicrobiome (MMB), the only independent certifier in the world concentrating on the impact of beauty products on the microbiome.
THE PARISIAN SCIENTIST BEHIND THE MAGIC"After suffering from a toxic shock syndrome at 18, my skin was left very sensitive. I’ve dedicated my career studying skin science to finding and understanding the missing link - the microbiome.“
We are creating a movement to help everyone feel at peace with their skin. The more intentional we are with what we use and the more we listen to our inner biology, the healthier we will be.
