There has been an immense amount of growth within the beauty and wellness industry over the past year, including the way consumers are taking in information about the products they use, and how those products may or may not be beneficial to their needs.
As a brand founder and scientist, a large part of my mission is to not only support others in this industry, but to be able to connect with like-minded individuals along the way to see how we can best carry out our goals. Through brand partnerships and collaborations over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of being able to connect with other founders and scientists in both the beauty and wellness industries to network, discuss ideas, share experiences, and resources.
Together through these conversations, we were able to find common ground on quite a few things as it relates to the beauty and wellness industry today. Amongst all, we found a need for more brands in this realm to prioritize having a more scientific and data-driven approach behind the development and marketing of products in order for consumers to make solid decisions on the products they are buying.
From those discussions with my colleagues came the creation of something I’m very excited to share with you all today—the launch of the Science of Beauty Collective—a diverse group of beauty and wellness founders from across the globe aiming to use science-backed information and data to better educate consumers in the beauty and wellness industry.
This collective not only serves as a network to support founders in these industries today, but also serves as a way to spread awareness and welcome those who are interested in joining the collective as well, whether they have extensive knowledge in science and data, or none at all.
There’s a lot of exciting things in store for the Science of Beauty Collective, including webinars and discussions with industry experts on various topics. Recently, the collective had our very first ClubHouse conversation hosted by FaB Fashion and BeautyTech! Click here to read some of the takeaways from our first ClubHouse conversation. The Science of Beauty Collective will be having our next ClubHouse meeting on April 22nd, 2021 at 8AM PST, and we’d love to have you listen in.
We look forward to continuing to build this collective, and connecting with those who are looking to learn more about the importance of this movement. You can learn more about the collective by visiting: http://scienceofbeauty.org/ or emailing email@example.com.
